I can relate. Two of my cats adopted at different times, never got along. I tried and tried. I too had separate places and times for them. One of them recently passed. Thank you for not giving up on your cats. They are safe with you. You’re amazing I didn’t think either of them had eyes. That means they have to smell before they know what to do. And, if they wait too long, it could cost them their life. Petting one of them around their mouth, where their glands are, then letting the other smell your hand could help. They need to be able to smell each other & get used to that scent BEFORE they’re around each other. If they don’t have sight, scent is what they’re using. God bless you!!!! Aww, Dmitri and Cami are beautiful. Have you tried following the Jackson Galaxy method of integrating your cats? I adopted a second female cat from a cat resue about 2 1/2 months ago to be a companion for my first female cat. They’re both spayed. I followed his method and at first, I was scared about introducing them, but his method worked, and just after 3 weeks, they were able to get along and now they play together. I found that swapping their scents really helped as well as feeding them on either side of a closed door. In your case, since both cats are blind, they’re relying on their sense of smell.
